About Us
My name is Jessica Lynn and I am the owner and founder of Earth Song Ranch. I am a life long equestrian, an equine nutritionist, an herbalist, and have been practicing homeopathy for over 55 years. I am an intuitive, as well as a hands on healer. I have always been passionate about natural health for horses, dogs and cats, as well as us humans. The products I design, manufacturer and offer are all natural, supportive and health enhancing - and made in the USA. You'll find my articles and podcasts in Equine Wellness, Holistic Horse, The Naturally Healthy Horse, and The Horse Talk Show - among others.
Our prebiotic/probiotic/digestive enzyme blends were formulated by a Cornell pHd Microbiologist more than 25 years ago, just think a quarter century of helping horses to heal their intestinal/gut health, regain their immune health, and also used as a preventative. We use a variety of equine specific probiotics which are added to our formulas & do the same in our canine formula - not only that but our herbal equine formula lines are nutrient dense, using the best & cleanest herbs we can find (nutraceuticals) selecting wild crafted and organic, they are hand measured and blended to work synergesticly, in proven combinations, to support, heal and nurture.
All of our formulas are totally unique in how we craft them but we have been doing this the longest most effective and natural way in the market place. I walk my talk, I feed my animals the way in which they thrive the most in a domestic environment using Hay Pillows to free feed hay, big open spaces to move all day, fresh clean well water (which I test 2 times per year for minerals), probiotics and digestive enzymes (Equine Zyme Plus). My dogs and cats get raw food along with free fed no grain kibble and Grandma Lucy's, Canine Wellness and Joint Juice.
I live on our ranch, I use the products I manufacturer, sell, and promote, I take care of all of our animals naturally myself, believing in a more natural approach to health, including limited or no vaccines and promoting digestive and immune health. I use other alternative approaches to horse health but know that veterinary care has its place in our animals health as well. I have a holistic/homeopathic vet and an allopathic vet and they work well together if any issues should arise.
My horses and mini's are barefoot and have been for the past 25 + years. I also use various methods of natural horsemanship for training.
I am pretty much a one woman operation, although I have two part time local ladies who do come and help - I am bookeeper, chief bottle washer, shipper, mixer, inventory keeper, label printer, homeopath, zen mucker, horse lover, and everything in between; so please be patient with me as I get your herbal orders hand blended and out. I do my best at all times for the many, and you cannot get what I do on Amazon or any place else, because each order is sent with health and healing energy as well as love.
My vision for Earth Song Ranch has always been to be a resource and a source for alternative health products, natural (preventative) health and nutrition. I have been involved with them most of my life, and that numbers almost 70 years now. I have owned and been around horses, dogs and cats my entire life, and cared for them all with proper nutrition, homeopathy, herbs and alternative medicine.
Nutrition plays the key role, limited vaccines, no chemical fly sprays, limited chemical wormers only when necessary after positive fecals, and limited exposure to chemicals in our hay, water, and property - No Round Up sprayed, not ever , around our property or our horses period! Even chemical fly sprays play a role in immune imbalance, we make our own fly sprays using essential oils.
Earth Song Ranch uses a manufacturer who specializes in pre / pro-biotic and digestive enzyme blends for horses, cats and dogs. Our manufacturer is a member of the National Animal Supplement Council and is held to a higher audited standard in manufacturing animals supplements. We are not new to this industry like so many others, we add horse and dog friendly probiotics to our blends and do not just rely on yeast cultures, we are here for the long run and have been in business for more than two decades, since 1998.
We also blend several herbal products including an herbal wormer and a pure joint support for horses and dogs. These products contain no fillers or other non-essential ingredients, nor do we, or will we purchase any ingredients from China. We sell other products also made in the USA and use/source ingredients that are from vendors who are reputable and have been in business as long as we have.
In a world market filled with cheap, ineffective substances and automated customer assistance, I strive to assist customer's in helping their horses, or their cats and dogs, maintain or regain their health with health enhancing products.
I also believe in supporting small businesses that have wonderful and health enhancing products which we also sell from the Earth Song Ranch store. These products are ones I believe in, use for myself and/or my animal family and also recommend to my customers. From my own personal experience I know these products to be excellent in quality and consistency, they are made in the USA, and you will not find them in “big box stores” or in the big pet stores.

The Beginning
The concept for Earth Song Ranch began in September 1996 when I was introduced to a Cornell educated microbiologist/zoologist who introduced me to equine, canine and feline friendly micro encapsulated pro-biotics and digestive enzymes. Thus began my education on why pro-biotics are important feed additives for our horse, dog and cat friends. I had always known that pro-biotics were essential to human health, and found the benefits for our animal friends too. He formulated Equine Zyme for me in 1998. After several years of R&D, and some help from several holistic vets, I designed many herbal products that were blended with the pro-biotics and digestive enzymes.
With a lot of hard work and creativity I became known from writing articles for various horse publications and horse health topics then launched my first website in September 2005. Earth Song Ranch continues to grow each year as more and more people want more natural products for their animal family members! We launched the new web site and store in September 2018, we are currently in the process of a new upgrade that should be done in the Spring of 2023. We continue to make changes as we go, we continue to grow our business in helping people to help their animals naturally in to the future and make our products affordable to the many not the few!
