Cluck 'em Out - Natural Chicken De Wormer
We have come up with a safe de-wormer for your chickens we are using a base of Organic Food Grade DE (dehydrates parasites) to which we add anti parasitic herbs including Wormwood (targets coccidea & worms),Cayanne (40m), Garlic Powder, Oregano and a small amount of Organic Celyon Black Pepper Powder & Rose Hips. It only takes a little bit mixed in their daily grains to do the trick!
As a backyard chicken keeper, you’re always on the lookout for ways to keep your flock healthy and thriving. One popular tool in the coop is diatomaceous earth (DE), touted as a natural way to control parasites and improve overall health. But have you ever stopped to think about the potential risks of using DE with chickens? Using diatomaceous earth (DE) with chickens can be a game-changer for their overall health and well-being if used safely and not over done.
One of the most significant benefits is its ability to reduce internal parasites such as worms and coccidiosis, which can cause anemia, weight loss, and even death in severe cases. DE works by dehydrating these parasites, causing them to die within 24 hours... however a little goes a long way, so we came up with an options, some DE mixed with anti parasitic herbs to sprinkle on their food!. So we have blended human grade DE with a selection of anti-parasitic herbs!
But that’s not all – DE also helps control external pests like mites and lice that can attach themselves to your chickens’ feathers, skin, and beaks if you sprinkle in their coop, bedding, around the area they eat their grain, even a small dusting on them from time to time you can create an environment that’s less hospitable to these unwanted guests.
To get the most out of Cluck Um Out for your flock, follow the recommended dosage guidelines (usually 1-2% of their feed - or a couple tablespoon as a topper over their daily feed for a flock of 10 birds on average). With regular use, you’ll notice a significant reduction in parasite-related issues and a healthier, happier flock overall!
We recommend 2x's per month on a Full Moon for 10 days and on a New Moon for 5 days. We will list those moons thru the end of the year in the area where the ingredient photos are!
