With so many of our clients horses with metabolic issues including Pre-Cushing's / Cushings and with Insulin Resistance (IR) which is showing up in cresty necks and long hair coats that do not shed, unexplained sore feet (not true laminitis) we decided to make a cost effective blend of herbs to support their specific needs.

Our successful blend has been on the market for more than a decade, we added a couple of things to our original version including Cinnamon and Green Tea Extract, many have tried to copy us, none have come close to the success we have had with improving horse health and well-being with our herbal and supplemental Cushing's/IR Blend as many horses can be both!

This blend differers from the Sunny's blend in the amount or concentration of herbs that are in this formula. The Sunny's has more Ginko, Tumeric, and Eluthero, both being effective for horses with Cushing's or suspected metabolic disorders in general. To this blend we add the Cinnamon, Chromium Yeast and the Magnesium for horses with EMS/IR. If your horse is overweight, has fat pockets or a cresty neck that does not go away and you suspect IR (Insulin Resistance) then we do have a supplement called IR Support that many are raving about giving them the digestive boost and metabolic boost of B Vitamins here is the link to that support formula: IR Support

The herbs selected for this blend are ones that can help to regulate and balance hormonal cycles, promote blood sugar metabolism and support the liver and pancreatic health, all the while strengthening the immune system. We also used herbs that have been shown effective in treating non-cancerous growths and cysts and some that have anti-tumor activity and compounds.

If your horse is not shedding then we also suggest that you give the Chaste Tree Berry Tea to help the process along... be ready for the big shed out after a week on the tea!

The following herbs are blended for maximum absorption and include: Ashwaghanda, Chaste Tree Berry, Ginko, organic north Atlantic kelp, eluthuro, cinnamon, green tea extract, red clover extract, milk thistle, vitex, parsley, dandelion leaf, Fenugreek and Fennel, Chromium yeast, Magnesium Citrate, a small amount of yeast culture is used as a flowing agent and for naturally occurring probiotics. We also recommend our Kelp and our Chaste Tree Berry tea be added to this herbal support blend as well for best results.
